Introduction
Our Customer Support Team Member Francis is a huge hit with our practices, not only does he greet them with his friendly warm personality and find the solution to their issue or query he loves to find out their favourite biscuit choice!
Whilst Francis was born in Worcestershire he moved to a beautiful part of rural South Wales in Pembrokeshire on a peninsula within a National Park – the only coastal national park in the whole of the UK. He loves to be around the corner from his family meaning he gets to spend time with them and his loud and wonderfully crazy 5 nephews and nieces.
Background
Growing up in a tiny little rural area called Far Forest in Worcestershire, going to Hagley RC High School where he troubled many a priest and nun with his ‘challenging’ behaviour. Francis went on to study AVCE (Advanced Computer & Engineering) and Music Technology at college before going on to Manchester main to study Sound Design & Music-Production/DSP-programming.
After University Francis moved to London and had the opportunity to work on digital content and apps relating to the 2012 London Olympics and London marathons before moving to Wales to join the rest of his family who had gradually moved over there whilst he was away.
Francis was a key part of the TVD team when in July Primary Care suffered a Global IT outage, everyone was working at full capacity to respond to and resolve requests quickly and efficiently whilst reassuring and advising our clients during a tense and disruptive situation.
Another standout moment of 2024 for Francis was being an integral part of the team that got us the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, the advanced level of protection and security against cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities. Francis’s ethos is admirable, working to always offer our clients the highest customer service standards.
Fun Facts
Francis knows more about biscuits and baked goods than the average person, has a worrying obsession with graphics cards and has 6 cats that are mischievous and he does not trust!Favourite Hobby / Favourite Quote
Francis's absolute favourite hobby is programming modular-synthesizers and playing them.
