Gareth Daine

Introduction 

We are excited to announce that Gareth has joined Tree View Designs as a Senior Developer, bringing over 27 years of software development expertise to our team. He officially started on 6th January, 2025, and is already contributing fresh ideas and leadership to our public sector projects. Gareth was drawn to our company’s commitment to building innovative software solutions for the NHS, particularly our use of cutting-edge AI—an area he’s deeply interested in.

Background 

Gareth has a robust history in software engineering, having worked mostly as a freelance and contract developer. His experience spans multiple programming languages and frameworks, including PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, and more. Through his long career, he has led teams, built enterprise systems, and demonstrated a knack for marketing, SEO, games programming, and entrepreneurship. When asked about his passion for AI, he’s the first to mention its potential to reshape not only the tech sector but how we approach problem-solving in every industry.

Beyond his professional life, Gareth has a large, close-knit family—he’s the eldest of six siblings. He also enjoys nothing more than quality time with his girlfriend and his two children. 

Fun Facts

Gareth isn’t just about coding, he's a fitness enthusiast, a dedicated practitioner of MMA, BJJ, Thai/kickboxing, and boxing. As a sci-fi lover Gareth's can talk about his favourite sci-fi films all day. And he lights up at conversations about astrophysics and quantum physics just as much as talk of tech and AI.
